RRQ Hoshi has officially announced its complete lineup for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Indonesia (MPL ID) Season 16, introducing two promising young talents promoted from the Mobile Legends Development League (MDL) to strengthen the team for the upcoming season.
The announcement was made through an official YouTube video on Monday evening (August 11), with RRQ CEO Andrian “Pak AP” Pauline personally selecting and introducing the players. During the reveal, there was an attempt to bring back Deden “Clayyy” Nurhasan—MVP of MPL ID Season 9—but Clayyy chose to focus on his streaming career. As a result, RRQ moved forward with its plan to integrate two rising stars into the main roster.
The promoted players are Muhammad “Rezzz” Kurniawan and Ilyas “Zunesh” Prasetyo, both previously representing RRQ Sena in the MDL. Rezzz will take on the role of explaner, while Zunesh will serve as the team’s jungler. This move reflects RRQ’s strong commitment to providing opportunities for local young talent to shine on the main stage.
To maintain team stability, five core players from last season remain on the roster, along with the entire coaching and analyst staff—ensuring continuity in both chemistry and strategy.

However, the announcement also came with a farewell. Schevenko David “Skylar” Tendean, who had been with RRQ for nearly five years, has officially transferred to Onic Esports for MPL Season 16. His departure marks the end of an important chapter, as Skylar has been a key contributor to RRQ’s performance over the years.
