RRQ Stands Tall in the Tyrant Group

In the Tyrant Group, RRQ showed once again why they are called “The Kings.” Out of seven matches played, RRQ swept them all without suffering a single loss. Their flawless 7–0 record places them comfortably at the top of the standings, well ahead of their rivals.

RRQ’s match results so far tell the story of dominance:

Week 1

  • Aug 23: RRQ vs Mahadewa – 2-1
  • Aug 24: RRQ vs ONIC – 2-0

Week 2

  • Aug 29: RRQ vs Vesakha Esports – 2-1
  • Aug 30: RRQ vs Alter Ego – 2-0
  • Aug 31: RRQ vs ONIC – 2-0

With this run, RRQ isn’t just the most consistent team—they’re also the only squad in the Tyrant Group that remains undefeated.

Vesakha Esports holds second place but still trails far behind. Meanwhile, Mahadewa and Alter Ego are struggling to find stability, while ONIC finds themselves stuck at the bottom with underwhelming results.

Overlord Group: Bigetron Fires Up

Across the aisle in the Overlord Group, the competition is much tighter. Kagendra, Dominator, and Bigetron by Vitality are locked in a three-way race at the top, each holding a 3–1 record. The only thing separating them is game differential.

Talon sits in fourth at 1–3, while Revemoin Esports is still searching for its first spark, languishing at the bottom with four straight defeats.

Format & Prize Pool

The IKL 2025 Fall Regular Season runs through September 28, 2025, featuring 10 teams split into two groups. The system uses a double round-robin format within groups and a single cross-group phase. The top three teams from each group will advance to the playoffs. Group winners earn direct tickets to the upper bracket semifinals, while second and third seeds must fight their way through the play-ins.

The playoffs are set for October 3–5, 2025, with a hybrid single-double elimination format. The Grand Final promises fireworks with an Ultimate Bo7 battle.

As for the prize pool, $60,000 USD is on the line. Regular season matches already reward teams with performance bonuses ranging from $100 to $300 USD per game depending on scorelines. The tournament champion will take home $12,000 USD and, more importantly, a coveted ticket to KIC.

Conclusion

With their spotless run so far, RRQ has established themselves as the team to beat in the Tyrant Group. Their consistency makes the path to the playoffs—and even the upper bracket—look well within reach. Still, the journey is far from over. Four more weeks remain, and every rival will be gunning for them. For RRQ, the challenge now is to hold onto their momentum and prove that perfection can last all season long.
