Initially launched in 2023, the program aims to foster sustainable growth for esports organizations. This expansion sees the number of participating clubs increase from 30 to 40, accompanied by a $20 million investment to broaden the global esports fanbase. The program emphasizes international reach, particularly in high-growth markets such as China, Southeast Asia, LATAM, and MENA.

The EWCF Club Partner Program is designed to connect esports enthusiasts across diverse gaming ecosystems by collaborating with elite esports clubs worldwide. The program provides funding opportunities for clubs, contingent upon demonstrating strong fan engagement and a robust competitive track record.
Funding Support: A total of $20 million in funds will be distributed among the 40 participating clubs, with high-performing clubs having the potential to receive up to $1 million.
Selection Criteria: Participation in the program is exclusive to esports organizations with a proven history across various esports titles, demonstrating strong performance in both domestic and international tournaments, and possessing a significant social media presence.
Competitive Integrity: Inclusion in the program does not confer any direct advantages in the Esports World Cup tournaments. All teams must still qualify through the established mechanisms and adhere to the applicable rules and regulations for each game.
Focus on Growth & Engagement: Clubs participating in the program are expected to actively expand their fan base and enhance engagement leading up to and during the Esports World Cup 2025.
