RRQ Secures Their Dream Ticket to VALORANT Champions 2025 Paris

At long last, the dream has become reality. RRQ VALORANT has secured their place at VALORANT Champions 2025 in Paris—the most prestigious tournament on the global stage. Their journey this season has been nothing short of dramatic, filled with highs and lows, but ultimately ending with triumph.

A Remarkable Run in VCT Pacific Stage 1

Looking back, RRQ’s season began with a statement. In VCT Pacific Stage 1, they stunned the region with an unforgettable comeback. After falling to Gen.G in the Upper Bracket Final, they clawed their way past Paper Rex in a narrow 3–2 victory in the Lower Bracket Final. In the Grand Final, RRQ took their revenge on Gen.G, defeating them 3–1 and claiming the Stage 1 championship title.

However, the international stage told a different story.

At Masters Toronto, RRQ exited early after two straight losses against Wolves Esports and Fnatic. Their struggles continued at the Esports World Cup (EWC), where a 1–2 group stage record kept them from advancing to the playoffs. Despite these setbacks, the team never wavered in their determination.

Stage 2: Building Consistency

In VCT Pacific Stage 2, consistency became the key. Placed in Group Alpha alongside DRX, Nongshim RedForce, Gen.G, Team Secret, and Global Esports, RRQ finished second in the group with a 3–2 record—enough to advance to the playoffs.

RRQ’s Group Stage Record (Alpha):

  • 3–2 overall | Map Record: 6–7
  • Wins: Gen.G, Team Secret, Nongshim RedForce
  • Losses: DRX, Global Esports

Their playoff run was once again filled with tension and resilience:

  • Upper Bracket Round 1: Narrow 1–2 loss to T1
  • Lower Bracket Round 1: Bounced back with a 2–1 victory over Gen.G
  • Lower Bracket Quarterfinal: Swept DRX 2–0
  • Lower Bracket Semifinal: Defeated T1 in a nail-biting 2–1
  • Lower Bracket Final: Set to face Talon Esports, with the winner advancing to meet Paper Rex in the Grand Final

Regardless of the final outcome, RRQ had already done enough to book their ticket to Paris.

The Road to Paris

Thanks to their performances across both stages, RRQ sits comfortably in the top three of the Pacific Championship Points standings with 15 points, joining Paper Rex and T1 as representatives for the Pacific region at VALORANT Champions 2025 Paris.

This achievement is more than just qualification—it’s validation. RRQ has proven that they can stand among the best in the Pacific, lifting a Stage 1 trophy and fighting through the toughest of battles in Stage 2.

A Golden Opportunity

RRQ VALORANT has shown flashes of brilliance and resilience all season long. While their international performances have yet to reach the heights of their regional success, Paris presents a golden opportunity—a chance to silence the doubters and show the world that RRQ is not just a dark horse, but a true contender.

Paris, get ready. #VIVARRQ is coming.
