After a series of announcements, unexpected returns, role changes, and one final plot twist, RRQ Hoshi has officially unveiled its complete roster for MPL Indonesia Season 18.
The team combines familiar faces, emerging talents, championship experience, international pedigree, and players who still have something to prove. It is a roster shaped not only by ambition, but also by the lessons of recent seasons.
For RRQ Hoshi, Season 18 is more than another competition. It is an opportunity to rebuild trust, rediscover its identity, and begin the journey back toward the highest level of Indonesian Mobile Legends.

Lynch Brings a Champion’s Confidence to the EXP Lane
Joshua “Lynch” Elshad arrives as the new face of RRQ Hoshi’s EXP Lane.
Despite his young age, Lynch is not joining as an untested prospect. He developed through Bigetron’s competitive structure, representing Bigetron Beta and Bigetron Academy before reaching the highest domestic level.
His career has also taken him through several roles.
Lynch previously competed as a Jungler, moved into the Roamer position, and eventually established himself as an EXP Laner. That experience gives him a broader understanding of tempo, rotations, vision, and team coordination than many players who have spent their entire careers in one lane.
Most importantly, he arrives with recent championship experience.
Lynch was part of the Bigetron side that captured the MPL Indonesia Season 17 title. Now, he must bring that winning mentality into an RRQ team searching for a new beginning.
His challenge will be very different this time. Winning creates confidence. Joining RRQ brings expectation.
Season 18 will test whether Lynch can transform his success into leadership, consistency, and impact inside one of the most heavily scrutinized teams in the region.
Demonkite Takes Control of the Jungle
The arrival of Jonard “Demonkite” Caranto represents one of the most significant changes in the new roster.
The Filipino Jungler joins RRQ Hoshi on loan from Aurora Gaming PH, bringing extensive experience from one of the strongest competitive regions in Mobile Legends.
Demonkite has competed at the highest levels of MPL Philippines and international competition. His career includes domestic, regional, and world championship success, including victory at the M7 World Championship with Aurora Gaming PH.
He is also familiar with RRQ from the opposite side of the stage.
Earlier in his career, Demonkite was part of the RSG Philippines team that defeated RRQ Hoshi in the MSC 2022 Grand Final. The player who once stood between RRQ and an international trophy will now carry the responsibility of guiding the team’s tempo from the Jungle.
It is a reunion esports could only write after several seasons of increasingly ambitious plot development.
As a Jungler, Demonkite will be expected to do more than secure objectives. He must help shape the team’s rhythm, coordinate its early movements, and provide composure during the moments when an entire match can be decided by one Retribution.
His experience on major stages could become one of RRQ Hoshi’s most valuable assets.
Sutsujin Begins a New Journey in the Gold Lane
Demonkite’s arrival also creates one of the most intriguing role changes of Season 18.
Arthur Christopher “Sutsujin” Sunarkho will move from the Jungle to the Gold Lane. He’s also changing his name into “Arthur.”
Arthur has been part of RRQ Hoshi since MPL Indonesia Season 14 and has already experienced deep domestic and international runs with the team. His aggressive mechanics and ability to play high-tempo heroes made him one of the most recognizable Junglers in Indonesia.
Now, he faces an entirely different challenge.
Gold Lane demands patience, efficient resource management, matchup discipline, and the ability to remain impactful under constant pressure. It requires a player to understand when to fight, when to farm, and when survival is more valuable than forcing a highlight.
Sutsujin’s Jungle experience could become an advantage.
He understands how opposing Junglers rotate, when pressure is likely to arrive, and how teams prepare around major objectives. In other words, he knows when the gank is coming because he used to be the person delivering it.
The transition will not be easy, but it offers Arthur an opportunity to reinvent himself without leaving the team whose journey he has helped shape.
Kuroky Receives Another Opportunity
Alongside Arthur, Habil Azhari Akbar “Kuroky” remains one of RRQ Hoshi’s options in the Gold Lane.
Kuroky entered the MPL ecosystem after building his name in Indonesia’s second-tier competitive scene. Before joining RRQ, he represented VL Team in Liga Esports Nasional 2025 and helped the team secure third place.
What made him stand out was not only his mechanical potential, but also his willingness to approach the Gold Lane differently.
Kuroky has shown comfort beyond conventional Marksman picks, including Fighters and unusual selections such as Joy. That flexibility can make RRQ’s drafts less predictable and give the coaching staff more ways to respond to changing metas.
Season 17 was an extremely difficult environment for a young player trying to establish himself.
The team struggled collectively, making it difficult to judge any individual performance in isolation. However, Kuroky’s continued presence in Season 18 shows that RRQ still believes in his potential.
He now has another chance to turn promise into results.
Rinz and Idok Remain Part of the Foundation
Hajirin “Rinz” Arafat and Said “Idok” Ridho return after surviving the most difficult period in RRQ Hoshi’s history.
Both players joined the MPL roster after developing together through Indonesia’s competitive ecosystem. Before reaching RRQ Hoshi, they won MDL Indonesia Season 8 with Bossque—defeating RRQ Sena in the Grand Final—before later joining RRQ’s development team themselves.
They subsequently helped RRQ Sena finish as runner-up in MDL Indonesia Season 9 and earned promotion to RRQ Hoshi for MPL Indonesia Season 14. Their arrival immediately coincided with consecutive Grand Final appearances in Seasons 14 and 15.
The titles did not come, but the team remained close to the summit. Then everything changed.
RRQ Hoshi failed to qualify for the Playoffs in Season 16, before enduring an even more painful campaign in Season 17. Despite the team’s overall struggles, Rinz and Idok continued to perform at a respectable level and, more importantly, passed the selection process for the new season.
Their return is not simply a reward for loyalty.
It reflects the organization’s belief that both players still have the quality and mentality required to help rebuild the team.
Rinz will continue to provide creativity and control from the Mid Lane, while Idok remains responsible for opening the map, initiating engagements, protecting his teammates, and performing the many invisible tasks that make the Roamer role so unforgiving.
Clayyy Returns for One More Chapter
Just when everyone believed the announcement was over, RRQ delivered its final surprise.
Deden “Clayyy” Nurhasan is back.
Clayyy is one of the most significant Mid Laners in RRQ Hoshi’s modern history. Before joining the organization, he competed with Saints Indo and Aerowolf Pro Team. His Aerowolf side famously eliminated defending champion RRQ Hoshi during MPL Indonesia Season 7 before finishing third.
After Aerowolf disbanded, Clayyy joined RRQ. The move eventually led to the first MPL championship of his career in Season 9, where he was also named Finals MVP.
Clayyy became known for his disciplined positioning, team-fight control, and ability to shape space around his teammates. His Yve became particularly iconic, producing a 20-match winning streak across several major competitions and a perfect record during MPL Indonesia Season 12.
His return gives RRQ two Mid Lane options with different profiles.
Rinz represents continuity, youth, and recent experience within the team. Clayyy brings a championship pedigree, years of institutional knowledge, and the calm of a player who has already carried the pressure of wearing the RRQ jersey.
This is not only a nostalgic reunion.
It is an opportunity for Clayyy to prove that his story with RRQ still has another meaningful chapter left to write.
Adi Returns to Lead the Team
The new roster will be led by a familiar figure.
Adi Asyauri returns as RRQ Hoshi’s Head Coach.
Adi has a long history with RRQ. Known at the time as Acil, he began his professional career as a Dota 2 player for RRQ in 2017. In 2019, he made the transition to Mobile Legends alongside R7, who had also been his teammate in RRQ’s Dota 2 division.
He was part of the coaching staff that guided the team to the MPL Indonesia Season 9 championship. He later continued his career with ONIC, where he became part of one of the most successful competitive periods in Indonesian Mobile Legends.
His experience includes multiple MPL Indonesia titles and deep international runs. Adi does not return as the same coach who left.
He comes back with more trophies, more experience, and a deeper understanding of what it takes to build and sustain a championship-level system.
His task, however, will be complex.
He must integrate players from different competitive backgrounds, manage role competition in the Mid and Gold Lanes, oversee Sutsujin’s transition, and help Demonkite adapt to a new league and team environment.
More importantly, he must rebuild RRQ Hoshi after two painful seasons. That requires more than drafting knowledge. It requires clarity, discipline, trust, and the ability to make every player believe in the same direction.
Caleb Joins as Assistant Coach
Adi will be supported by Tesista “Caleb” Kayleb as Assistant Coach.
Caleb was the first member of the Season 18 structure to be introduced, making his appearance during Rise Above 2026 in Bali.
His coaching journey includes experience across several EVOS teams, from development-level competition to MPL Indonesia. He has worked with young players, competed at the highest domestic level, and gained additional experience in Malaysia.
Caleb’s background in player development could be particularly valuable for a roster combining veterans, role transitions, and younger talents.
Together, Adi and Caleb must turn a collection of strong individual stories into one functioning team.
Because a roster can look impressive in an announcement video. Winning requires everyone to move together after the cameras stop.
A Roster Built on Experience, Reinvention, and Belief
RRQ Hoshi’s Season 18 lineup does not follow one simple philosophy. It combines several.
Lynch brings recent championship momentum. Demonkite arrives with world-class experience. Arthur begins a new chapter in a different role. Kuroky receives another opportunity to grow.
Rinz and Idok continue as trusted foundations. Clayyy returns carrying history, leadership, and unfinished business.
Adi comes home to lead, supported by Caleb and Maverick behind the team.
There are new faces and familiar ones. There are proven champions and players still chasing their defining moment. There is continuity, but also meaningful change.
That balance will determine whether RRQ Hoshi can rise again. The names are now official. The roles are clear. The roster announcements are finally over.
What remains cannot be decided through posters, videos, or speculation. It must be earned inside the Land of Dawn.
