For aspiring Mobile Legends: Bang Bang players across Indonesia, the journey toward a professional career may begin with one opportunity.
Through the realme 828 Fan Festival 2026, realme is launching the realme 828 Gaming Tournament, a nationwide MLBB competition built around this year’s theme, “Make Passion Real.”
More than a tournament, the event is designed as a platform for young talents to prove themselves, compete against some of the best amateur players in the country, face RRQ Sena on the main stage, and potentially earn an invitation to trial with Team RRQ.
Registration is open from August 3 to 12, 2026, followed by the Online Qualifier from August 15 to 17. The best team will then advance to the offline Grand Final in Jakarta on August 28, 2026.
A Chance to Face RRQ Sena
The winner of the Online Qualifier will be flown to Jakarta to compete at the realme 828 Fan Festival 2026.
On the main stage, the champion will face RRQ Sena, Team RRQ’s Mobile Legends squad competing in the Mobile Legends Development League Indonesia, in a special exhibition match.
For players who have spent years competing from home, climbing the ranked ladder, and chasing opportunities through grassroots tournaments, this match offers something rare: the chance to experience what it feels like to stand across from a professional team.
It is not only about winning. It is about proving that talent can come from anywhere, and that one performance may be enough to open a new door.
The tournament’s Most Valuable Player will receive an exclusive invitation to join a trial for Team RRQ in the following season. While the invitation does not guarantee a place on the roster, it gives the selected player the opportunity to demonstrate their ability directly within a professional esports environment.

Through the tournament, realme hopes to give Indonesia’s emerging gaming talents a stage to show what they are capable of.
“We hope this tournament can become the first step toward the birth of a new generation of Indonesian professional esports athletes,” Krisva added.

realme 828 Gaming Tournament Format
The Online Qualifier will begin on August 15, 2026, with up to 256 teams entering the competition.
The opening round will use a Best of 1 format. The tournament will continue on August 16 with the Top 128, Top 64, Top 32, and Top 16 rounds, all played as Best of 1 matches.
The final eight teams will return on August 17 for the last stage of the Online Qualifier.
The Top 8 and Semifinal rounds will use a Best of 3 format, while the Online Grand Final will be played as a Best of 5 series to determine the team that will advance to Jakarta.
The full schedule is as follows:
- Registration: August 3–12, 2026
- Online Qualifier: August 15–17, 2026
- Offline Grand Final: August 28, 2026
- Exhibition match against RRQ Sena: August 28, 2026
Prizes and the Opportunity to Trial with Team RRQ
In addition to the opportunity to compete against RRQ Sena, realme has prepared a range of prizes for the tournament’s top performers.
The champion team will receive:
- Five realme P4x smartphones, with one unit for each player
- IDR 5,000,000 in cash
- The opportunity to compete against RRQ Sena
- Flights to Jakarta for the Grand Final
The runner-up will receive:
- Five realme Buds Air8 units
- IDR 3,000,000 in cash
- The opportunity to appear during the Grand Final event
- Flights to Jakarta
The tournament MVP will also receive a realme 16 Pro+ 5G, in addition to the exclusive invitation to participate in a Team RRQ trial for the following season.

All team information must be completed accurately before registration closes on August 12, 2026.
Every registration will go through a selection process. Teams that qualify will be contacted by the organizers through WhatsApp and invited to proceed to the next stage.
Participants are therefore advised to ensure that the WhatsApp number used during registration remains active throughout the selection period.
