RRQ Tora has officially introduced the players and staff who will represent the team in MPL Malaysia Season 18.
The roster was revealed during the final stop of Rise Above 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, following earlier events in Bali and Jakarta.
For the new season, RRQ Tora brings together a diverse group of talents: young players emerging from Malaysia’s academy system, experienced names who already understand the demands of MPL Malaysia, and two Indonesian players who have competed at the highest level of MPL Indonesia.
Behind the team, Sasa remains trusted as Head Coach. He will be supported by Haru as Assistant Coach and Dex as Performance Coach.

Carrying the Lessons of Season 17
MPL Malaysia Season 17 marked RRQ Tora’s first campaign in the country’s highest level of competitive Mobile Legends.
The journey began with promise. RRQ Tora opened the season with four consecutive victories and quickly showed that the team was capable of competing near the top of the standings.
However, maintaining that momentum proved difficult.
The team entered a period of inconsistent results and endured a losing streak that made the race for the Playoffs increasingly challenging. RRQ Tora eventually secured qualification after finishing the Regular Season in sixth place with a record of six wins and eight losses.
Their Playoffs journey ended in the Play-ins after a 0–3 defeat to Team Vamos, leaving RRQ Tora in fifth–sixth place overall.
It was not the result the team had hoped for.
Still, Season 17 provided valuable lessons for an organisation navigating its first year in MPL Malaysia. RRQ Tora showed that it could challenge strong opponents, including a 2–0 victory over Team Rey during the final week of the Regular Season.
What remained missing was consistency.
Season 18 now offers the opportunity to build a more stable, deeper, and better-prepared team—one capable of sustaining its performance throughout the long competitive season.
Sasa Continues to Lead RRQ Tora
Lu Khai Bean “Sasa” remains at the helm as Head Coach.
Before moving into coaching, Sasa established himself as one of Malaysia’s most successful professional MLBB players. He won MPL Indonesia Season 3 and MSC 2019 with ONIC Esports, competing and succeeding on some of the biggest stages in the region.
That experience gives him a perspective shaped by both sides of competition.
He understands the pressure carried by players because he has lived through it himself. He knows what it means to prepare for a decisive match, to manage expectations, and to perform when the margin for error becomes almost nonexistent.
For Season 18, Sasa will work alongside Haru as Assistant Coach and Dex as Performance Coach.
Together, the staff will be responsible for strategy, player development, match preparation, and the consistency that RRQ Tora will need across the season.
Super Kenn Takes Over the Jungle
The Jungle position will be entrusted to Kenneth Marcello “Super Kenn.”
Super Kenn is one of Indonesia’s young Junglers who already has experience competing in MPL Indonesia. He developed through Bigetron’s system before later joining RRQ Hoshi.
He has also experienced competition outside Indonesia through his time with DianFengYaoGuai.
Now, Super Kenn begins a new challenge with RRQ Tora.
As Jungler, he will play a central role in controlling the team’s tempo, securing objectives, and coordinating movements across every lane. The position carries enormous responsibility, particularly in moments when one decision can determine the direction of an entire match.
His move to MPL Malaysia also gives him an opportunity to continue developing in a new competitive environment and adapt to a different style of play.
Yehezkiel Brings Championship Experience
Yehezkiel Napitu joins RRQ Tora as one of the team’s two Mid Lane options.
Despite his young age, Yehezkiel already brings significant experience.
He was part of the Team Liquid ID roster that won MPL Indonesia Season 14 and later reached the Grand Final of the M6 World Championship.
He then joined RRQ Hoshi for Season 17.
That chapter did not unfold as expected, but Season 18 offers Yehezkiel a fresh beginning with RRQ Tora.
He does not arrive only as a young player with potential. He has already experienced the pressure of an MPL Grand Final and an international world championship stage.
That experience could become especially valuable when RRQ Tora enters matches where composure, discipline, and decision-making matter as much as mechanical skill.
AJ Provides Continuity and Local Experience
Alongside Yehezkiel, RRQ Tora retains Muhammad Azri “AJ” Jamaludin in the Mid Lane.
AJ is already a familiar name within the Malaysian MLBB scene. His career has included time with Suhaz Esports, Team Caracal, RED Esports MY, Team Lunatix, Team Rey, and CG Esports.
He was also part of RRQ Tora during Season 17.
His return provides continuity within a roster that has undergone considerable change. AJ already understands the competitive environment in Malaysia, the tendencies of local opponents, and the responsibility that comes with representing RRQ Tora.
With Yehezkiel and AJ, the coaching staff gains two Mid Laners with different backgrounds.
Yehezkiel brings MPL Indonesia and international experience. AJ brings deeper familiarity with the Malaysian ecosystem.
Together, they give RRQ Tora more strategic flexibility across the season.
Loleal Adds Proven Experience in the Gold Lane
RRQ Tora has also added Ealtond Rayner “Loleal” to the Gold Lane on loan from Team Rey.
Loleal brings extensive experience from Malaysian competition. He has previously represented RSG Malaysia, Team Caracal, NINERS, Todak, and Team Rey.
Unlike Izzshiki, who enters as a young player at the beginning of his MPL journey, Loleal has already experienced many of the situations that come with top-level competition.
He understands the pressure of playing on the main stage, adapting through different metas, and competing against the strongest teams in the region.
The contrast between the two Gold Laners gives RRQ Tora an interesting combination.
One represents experience and stability.
The other represents youth and potential.
Throughout the season, both players can offer different styles, perspectives, and drafting possibilities.
Lehtzy Takes the Next Step from the Academy Scene
Lehtzy will take on the EXP Lane role for RRQ Tora.
Before joining the team, he represented RED Alpha and Pixel Esports in the MLBB Academy League Malaysia.
Among the three academy players joining RRQ Tora this season, Lehtzy has the longest recorded experience in the competition, having appeared in the MLBB Academy League since Season 2.
MPL Malaysia Season 18 now becomes the next step in his journey.
Moving from academy competition to the country’s highest professional league is a significant transition. The pace is faster, the opponents are more experienced, and every mistake receives greater attention.
As an EXP Laner, Lehtzy will be responsible for holding his lane, creating space, and contributing in team fights.
His biggest challenge will be adapting to the pressure and consistency required at MPL level.
But it is also the opportunity he has been working toward.
Addboyy Is Trusted with the Roamer Role
Addboyy will serve as RRQ Tora’s Roamer.
He previously represented Pixel Esports and was part of the team’s roster in MLBB Academy League Seasons 4 and 5.
Addboyy also shares a previous team background with Lehtzy and Izzshiki. That familiarity may provide a useful starting point as the new roster begins building its communication and chemistry.
However, MPL presents a different level of pressure.
As Roamer, Addboyy will carry major responsibilities in opening the map, initiating team fights, protecting teammates, and helping organise communication during matches.
The role often demands sacrifice and trust. A Roamer may not always receive the most visible recognition, but the team’s structure can quickly collapse without clear decisions from this position.
Season 18 will be an important test of whether Addboyy can translate his academy experience onto the main stage.
Izzshiki Begins His MPL Journey
Izzul Hayyu Eddin “Izzshiki” is the youngest player in RRQ Tora’s Season 18 roster.
Born on October 4, 2008, the young Gold Laner previously represented Pixel Esports in MLBB Academy League Season 5.
Competing in MPL Malaysia Season 18 will be a major step in his development.
At such a young age, Izzshiki will enter an environment filled with experienced players, established stars, and opponents who understand how to punish even the smallest mistakes.
He will share the Gold Lane position with Loleal, who brings a much longer competitive history.
That combination gives RRQ Tora two players with very different profiles: one still developing at the beginning of his career, and one already familiar with the demands of high-level competition.
For Izzshiki, this season is not only about proving that he belongs.
It is also about learning, adapting, and taking the first steps toward building his own identity on the MPL stage.
Youth, Local Experience, and Indonesian Talent
RRQ Tora’s Season 18 roster has been built through several different approaches.
Super Kenn and Yehezkiel bring experience from MPL Indonesia.
AJ and Loleal provide familiarity and stability from the Malaysian competitive scene.
Lehtzy, Izzshiki, and Addboyy represent a new generation emerging from the academy system.
Meanwhile, Sasa, Haru, and Dex will be responsible for bringing these different elements together and shaping them into one functioning team.

MPL Malaysia Season 18 represents RRQ Tora’s second opportunity.
Season 17 was the beginning—a campaign filled with strong victories, difficult periods, and a Playoffs qualification earned under pressure.
Now, the focus turns toward the next step.
The new roster has been introduced.
The academy players are ready to rise.
The experienced players are ready to provide stability.
The coaching staff returns with a clearer structure and another season of lessons behind them.
There is no guarantee that everything will come together immediately.
A new roster always needs time. Trust must be built. Roles must become clear. Players must learn how to respond when the season becomes difficult.
But RRQ Tora enters Season 18 with a new foundation and a clear ambition: to grow beyond its first season and compete deeper into MPL Malaysia.
