After a nerve-racking week for fans, RRQ Kazu returned to the grand stage of the FFWS SEA Fall 2025. This time, the competition featured two formats: Battle Royale Mode (Knockout Stage, Phase 2, Week 4) and Clash Squad Mode (Swiss Stage, Rounds 2 & 3). Let’s break down their performance.
Battle Royale Mode (Week 4 Knockout Stage)
Day 1 – September 6, 2025
RRQ Kazu opened with a sweet surprise, securing a Booyah in the very first game. Their final tally was:
- Placement Points: 22
- Elimination Points: 38
- Total: 60 points
Although it wasn’t enough to top the standings—they finished 7th overall—the performance proved RRQ remained steady in the mid-table and still posed a serious threat to every contender.
Day 2 – September 7, 2025
On the second day, RRQ Kazu opted for consistency over flash. Without a Booyah, they still managed to collect:
- Placement Points: 42
- Elimination Points: 22
- Total: 64 points
Their efforts secured a 3rd-place finish behind Buriram United Esports and ONIC. While it wasn’t enough to lock a Grand Finals ticket just yet, the points they earned are vital stepping stones for the battles ahead.
Clash Squad Mode (Swiss Stage)
Beyond Battle Royale, RRQ Kazu also continued their Clash Squad journey in the Swiss Stage. After suffering back-to-back defeats in earlier rounds, the team finally found redemption with a convincing 2–0 sweep over ONIC.
RRQ Kazu’s Clash Squad Results So Far:
- Aug 28, Round 1: Lost 1–2 vs Kagendra
- Sept 5, Round 2: Lost 1–2 vs Bigetron
- Sept 5, Round 3: Won 2–0 vs ONIC
This gives RRQ Kazu a record of 1 win – 2 losses.
Their next challenge is against Team Flash, who hold the same 1–2 record. Scheduled for September 11, this duel is a do-or-die scenario. A loss (1–3) would mean automatic elimination from Clash Squad Mode.

The Road Ahead
This past week revealed two faces of RRQ Kazu: steady and resilient in Battle Royale with a Booyah and a top-3 finish, but fighting for survival in Clash Squad. Yet, RRQ fans still have every reason to believe. The King’s steel mentality has often shone brightest in the toughest moments.
All eyes are now on the next clash with Team Flash. Will RRQ Kazu rise again to keep their Clash Squad hopes alive—or will their journey narrow to a full focus on Battle Royale in pursuit of that Grand Finals slot? The answer awaits in the coming days.
