Cyber Breaker Season 3 Continues to Shape Indonesia’s Cybersecurity Talent

Not long ago, cybersecurity was often seen as a niche field—something reserved for people staring at black screens filled with lines of code.

Today, that perception is beginning to change.

Through Cyber Breaker Competition Season 3, cybersecurity is being introduced in a way that is more engaging, more accessible, and far more relatable to today’s digital generation. By blending technical challenges with the excitement of esports, Cyber Breaker is proving that cybersecurity can be just as competitive, inspiring, and community-driven as any other modern sport.

The growing enthusiasm speaks for itself.

This year’s competition welcomed 916 participants across 458 teams from all over Indonesia, making it the largest Cyber Breaker event since its inception. The journey has been remarkable—from 137 participants in Season 1, to 616 in Season 2, and now reaching another record-breaking milestone in Season 3.

More importantly, these numbers reflect something much bigger than attendance. They represent a new generation that increasingly sees cybersecurity not just as a career path, but as an opportunity to create meaningful impact in an increasingly digital world.

Where Cybersecurity Meets Esports

The Grand Final took place at Garuda Spark Innovation Hub, fX Sudirman, Jakarta, bringing together the country’s top teams after weeks of online qualification rounds.

But Cyber Breaker is about far more than determining who can solve technical challenges the fastest.

The competition combines live hacking battles, educational content, competitive storytelling, and an esports-style production that allows audiences to follow the action through professional casters and real-time visualizations. Complex cybersecurity concepts become easier to understand, while the excitement of competition makes the learning experience more engaging for everyone—not just cybersecurity professionals.

It is a fresh approach that opens the door for more people to discover an industry that is becoming increasingly important.

RRQ’s Commitment Beyond Esports

As a long-time supporter of youth development, RRQ believes that the next generation deserves opportunities beyond competitive gaming.

Cybersecurity has become one of the world’s fastest-growing industries, and Indonesia’s future depends on developing talented individuals who are ready to protect and innovate in the digital era.

Together with Peris.ai, RRQ continues to champion the idea of cyber esports—an ecosystem that combines competition, education, community, content creation, and talent development into a single platform.

Through this collaboration, cybersecurity becomes more approachable, allowing more young people to explore a field that was once considered difficult to enter.

Building Skills That Matter

Every challenge inside Cyber Breaker is designed to prepare participants for real-world opportunities.

Competitors face a wide range of cybersecurity disciplines, including Web Security, Cryptography, Pwn, and Reverse Engineering. Beyond technical expertise, they are challenged to think critically, collaborate under pressure, develop strategies, and make fast decisions—skills that are equally valuable inside and outside the cybersecurity industry.

Cyber Breaker is not simply identifying today’s best talent; it is helping develop tomorrow’s professionals.

Opening Doors to Future Careers

The impact of Cyber Breaker extends well beyond the competition itself.

In a strong demonstration of industry support, PT Satria Siber Nusantara (SSN) announced that participants who finish in the Top 10 will receive the opportunity to join the company without going through the standard recruitment test.

It is a powerful reminder that Cyber Breaker is more than a championship. It is a platform where talent can be discovered, recognized, and connected directly with real career opportunities.

Growing an Ecosystem Together

Today, Cyber Breaker has evolved into much more than an annual event.

More than 1,500 cybersecurity talents have become part of the ecosystem built by Peris.ai, alongside partners from industry, government, academia, and local communities. Together, they are creating an environment where young talent can learn, compete, collaborate, and grow.

As demand for cybersecurity professionals continues to rise, initiatives like Cyber Breaker play an increasingly important role in preparing Indonesia’s digital workforce for the future.

RRQ is proud to be part of that journey.

Because empowering young people is about more than celebrating champions on an esports stage. It is about creating opportunities, nurturing potential, and inspiring the next generation to build, protect, and shape Indonesia’s digital future—one challenge at a time.
