RRQ’s journey has never been supported only by those standing inside the arena.
Millions of Kingdom members have followed the team from home, gathered at watch parties, attended community events, and continued to show their support through social media. Whether during moments of victory or difficult seasons, they have remained an inseparable part of RRQ’s story.
At the Esports World Cup 2026, some of those supporters received the opportunity to bring that passion directly to the global stage.
A total of 21 RRQ Superfans travelled to Paris to watch the competition, support RRQ’s players in person, and experience what it means to become part of the organization’s international journey.
They did not come from one city alone. The selected Superfans represented communities across Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Palembang, Lampung, Aceh, Merauke, and Malaysia.
For every participant, it was also their first time visiting Paris.
Two Groups, One Shared Purpose
The RRQ Superfans travelled to Paris in two separate groups.
The first group joined the program from July 8 to 13, 2026, while the second group followed from July 14 to 19, 2026.
The participants came from different backgrounds and generations. The youngest Superfan was 19 years old, while the oldest was 37.
However, differences in age and hometown quickly became secondary. From the moment they arrived, the participants connected with one another, navigated a new city together, and experienced the journey as one RRQ Kingdom delegation.
During their stay, the first group was accommodated at Hampton by Hilton Paris Saint-Ouen, while the second group stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Paris Orly Airport.
More Than a Ticket to EWC 2026
The Superfans Program is part of an Esports World Cup initiative designed to bring clubs and their most dedicated supporters closer together.
Each selected participant received a complete travel and event package that included:
- Flights
- Hotel accommodation
- Airport transfers
- Access to EWC 2026
- Access to the dedicated Superfans Area
- An exclusive goodie bag
- Fast-track access to RRQ’s meet-and-greet session
With the main travel arrangements taken care of, the participants could focus on experiencing the event and giving their full support to RRQ.
However, becoming an RRQ Superfan was about more than receiving an international trip.
Whenever RRQ had a scheduled match, the Superfans were expected to be present at the venue and support the team from inside the arena. They also had the opportunity to explore the booths, stages, and activities throughout the EWC venue.
Their voices represented far more than the 21 people in attendance. Every chant carried the support of Kingdom members who could not be there in person.

Discovering Paris Together
Outside the competition schedule, the Superfans had the opportunity to experience another side of Paris.
On the day when RRQ did not have a match, the participants were free to explore the city, visit landmarks, take photographs, and spend time together.
They also learned how to navigate Paris using public transportation. For several participants, understanding Metro routes, changing lines, and travelling through an unfamiliar city became a new experience of its own.
The journey was documented through photos and vlog content produced for RRQ and the RRQ Kingdom YouTube channel.
Through those stories, the experience extended beyond the participants themselves. Kingdom members at home could follow their journey, from their arrival in Paris to their days supporting RRQ at the venue.
Seeing Paris for the First Time
All 21 RRQ Superfans were visiting Paris for the first time.
Despite being far from home, the participants adapted quickly. Paris was experiencing summer, making the weather relatively comfortable for supporters accustomed to Indonesia’s warmer climate.
From the moment they arrived, the excitement was clear. The trip gave them the opportunity to discover a new city, meet fellow RRQ supporters from different regions, and experience the atmosphere of a major international esports competition.
There were still several unfamiliar details to adjust to.
One of the most noticeable was the length of the summer days. The Paris sky could remain bright at nine in the evening, with darkness arriving only around ten.
For participants used to the Indonesian sunset, it was easy to lose track of time. The clock said it was already late, but outside, the city still looked like it was in the middle of the afternoon.
The time difference also caused jet lag. Some participants repeatedly woke up in the early hours of the morning because their bodies were still following Indonesian time.
A Different Experience from Riyadh
For the accompanying team members who had previously participated in the Superfans Program in Riyadh, Paris offered a noticeably different experience.
The first major difference was the weather. Riyadh was significantly hotter, while the Paris summer felt cooler and easier for the Indonesian participants to adapt to.
The scale and format of the venues were also different.
The EWC venue in Riyadh felt like a dedicated district of its own. In Paris, the event was held within an expo-style facility, with one hall divided into several competitive stages.
Food also required some adjustment. Rice and other familiar meals had been easier to find in Riyadh. In Paris, options that felt familiar to Indonesian participants were more limited.
The difference in currency value also made everyday spending in Paris feel more expensive, encouraging participants to manage their personal expenses carefully.
Transportation was another contrast. In Riyadh, transfers between the airport, hotel, and venue had been extensively supported through dedicated vehicles. In Paris, the participants also relied on public transportation for some of their activities.
Rather than diminishing the experience, these differences became part of the journey. The Superfans were not only attending matches. They were learning how to adapt, travel, and explore together in an entirely new environment.
The Small Stories They Will Remember
Behind the competition schedule and city exploration were many simple moments that made the trip more memorable.
One unexpected adjustment involved the toilets.
Several participants became nervous after discovering that many facilities in Paris did not provide bidets. Without portable bidets of their own, they had to adapt to what was available.
There was also the story of one participant from the second group who purchased a daily Metro pass for 14 euros.
The Paris transport card was thin and small, resembling a piece of cardboard. Shortly after it was purchased, the card fell or was blown away and could no longer be found.
Jet lag, late sunsets, unfamiliar transportation, and small moments of culture shock became stories the participants continued sharing throughout the trip.
They may have appeared minor at the time, but these were the experiences that made the journey personal—and the memories that would remain long after everyone returned home.

Carrying the Kingdom to the Global Stage
The RRQ Superfans Program was about more than sending 21 people to Paris.
Every participant carried a story from their own community. They came from different cities, represented different generations, and had their own reasons for supporting RRQ.
Inside the arena, however, they shared one purpose: to stand behind the team.
Their presence was also a form of appreciation for the supporters who have accompanied RRQ throughout its journey—not only during championships and celebrations, but also through challenges, defeats, and difficult seasons.
Not every member of the Kingdom could travel to Paris. Through these 21 Superfans, however, the passion of RRQ supporters from Indonesia and Malaysia could still be seen, heard, and felt inside the arena.
From Jakarta to Merauke, from local communities to the global stage, the Kingdom’s support continues to travel with RRQ.
